History: eXcentric Rubin is one of the many wines made from Bulgarian grape varieties. It follows the winery’s philosophy to work with Bulgarian grape varieties, to reveal their great potential as well as the variety of terroirs in Bulgaria as well as the uniqueness of each one of them. Because the good wines made of domestic grape varieties are the face and the identity of Bulgarian wine industry.

Vinification: The eXcentric Rubin wine is made of a single vineyard from a region located on the south of the town Plovdiv. The grapes were picked on September 23 and were precisely selected on the vineyard itself. In the cellar, they were sorted on a double sorting table. The wine matured 12 months in French oak barrels. Malolactic fermentation and batonage (daily mixing of the lees in the barrels). The stressing cold stabilization was avoided. Unfiltered.

Tasting notes: The wine has a beautiful dark red color. The flavor is attractive, dominated by black forest fruits, polypody, stone fruits and ripe mulberry with tones of chocolate and spices. In the taste: aromatic palate with well ripe red and black fruits, strings of cherry liquor, vanilla tones, toast and spices.
The body is full, soft and velvet and the aftertaste – long, fruity and memorable.
