A Good Year Wines are the basic range of the product portfolio of the winery. Its vision is work of the famous designer of wine labels and calligrapher Jordan Jelev – the Labelmaker. This is our second try to create wine label with clover. The first one was done in 2011 and this brand new version is actually a major restyle of the original A Good Year wine label. The original release featured calligraphy, more texts and more colors. The redesigned version is significantly changed. The overall look of this new label is very elegant and clean paying maximum attention to the clover at the center. We removed the old text description from the original label and left only the variety and the vintage in order to keep everything as simple as possible. We used aluminum capsules in silver for the Rose and gold for the Reds and Whites. We made the front label wider and placed on the extended part the whole info from the back label because we did the same way most of the other wine labels for the other brands of the winery.
The wines in this line are produced from grapes harvested in optimal technological maturity, most of them aged 6 to 12 months in used oak barrels with a capacity of 225 liters. The production of this line started with harvesting in 2011 and is in sale since the fall of 2012; it quickly gained popularity among connoisseurs and experts in Bulgaria and abroad for its excellent value for money. Most of the wines in this line were received recognition and medals from various international and national competitions.
The concept of the line is that good wine with recognizable style can be made from grapes grown under the conditions of a good year only. A Good Year Wine Line includes single grape and blended wines, made of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Mavrud, Rubin, Chardonnay, Viognier, Traminer, and Sauvignon Blanc. The concept of A Good Year Wine Line has also an entire human dimension – it makes us think of our happiest moments and of what we wish for our closest people.
